Leah John Mmari

Leah John Mmari is a Research Coordinator at WEMA Health Innovation Tanzania, where she leads field research operations and community outreach for the National Expansion of HPV-Based Cervical Cancer Screening in Tanzania (NECST) project.

Her background combines social health care and mental health with business management and marketing. This multidisciplinary foundation allows her to bring together an understanding of people and communities with the operational and organizational demands of research implementation.

In her current role, Leah focuses on coordinating research workflows, supporting community-facing implementation and addressing barriers that can limit access to early diagnosis and preventive health services.
