Doreen Andrew Mruma

Doreen Andrew Mruma is a health-research and finance professional at WEMA Health Innovation Tanzania whose work connects organizational accountability, community engagement and sustainable health development. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance, providing a foundation in financial management, grant control, organizational accountability and risk assessment.

Her professional experience extends beyond financial management into health research and community-based initiatives. Through participation in research studies and community outreach, Doreen has contributed to health-awareness activities, preventive-health initiatives and engagement with communities around issues affecting health and well-being.

Doreen is also a co-author of research publications and has contributed to collaborative research, data analysis and evidence generation. At WEMA Health Innovation Tanzania, she serves as both Project Accountant and Board Member, contributing to financial oversight, project accountability, organizational decision-making and the implementation of health and social-development initiatives.
