John Andrea John

John Andrea John is a Tanzanian research professional with longstanding experience in field-based research and community engagement. He has served as a Research Assistant at WEMA Health Innovation Tanzania since 2017, supporting the implementation of research activities and the collection of reliable information for evidence-informed programmes and organizational learning.

Through this work, John has developed substantial experience in the operational side of community-based research, including respectful interaction with diverse communities, teamwork, ethical research conduct and the practical requirements of delivering field activities consistently across different settings.

John also holds a Diploma in Tourism Management and Tour Guiding from Big Five College of Tourism. His training in tourism strengthened his experience in communication, visitor engagement, cross-cultural interaction and coordination. He also communicates in French, adding to his ability to work with people from varied cultural and professional backgrounds.
