A Bed-Net Voucher Was Feasible at Scale — but Extra Text Messages Did Not Increase Redemption

A plausible digital reminder does not automatically change behaviour, especially when the underlying service pathway already contains several other constraints. The extra messages did not significantly increase voucher redemption compared with the eVoucher pathway without the added behaviour-change messaging. The null result is useful because it shows why each digital component should be tested rather than assumed effective, while the wider programme demonstrates that large-scale eVoucher delivery was operationally possible.
